Scope overview
Yeovil Town Council seeks a specialist contractor to manage the replacement of existing floodlights with LED lights at two locations at Yeovil Recreation Centre. Yeovil Recreation Centre is a busy outdoor multi-sport venue in the town of Yeovil, south Somerset.
It includes a large pavilion building with cafe (the Jon O'Donnell pavilion), adult and youth grass football pitches, two golf courses, two outdoor tennis courts, a MUGA, destination children's play area, Artificial Grass Pitch (AGP) used for hockey and football and athletics arena. The AGP and Arena have existing floodlights on columns.
