Scope overview
The Human Resources Administration (HRA) intends to enter into a Required Source contract with Food Bank for New York City for SNAP Outreach to increase SNAP participation. SNAP Outreach is a 50 percent reimbursement program in with the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) reimburses approved, reasonable and necessary SNAP Outreach expenditures.
The Federal funding is granted with the understanding that this funding supports the implementation of outreach activities to inform low-income households about the availability, eligibility requirements, application procedures and the benefits of SNAP.
