Scope overview

Cristo Rey Orange County High School seeks 1 GB synchronous (up and down) internet access and service with a minimum of 1 possibly 5 Static IPs & all the items to make it work that will accommodate 295 students and 47-50 fac/admin/staff with the ability to expand bandwidth during the term of the contract. School will be moving to 3611 S. Harbor Boulevard, Santa Ana, CA 92704 Date to be determined before Sept 2026.

Main phone number will remain 714-439-9626 All Emails are to indicate Schools Name and Form 470 # for Category 1 Internet. All vendors proposals are to contain their contact information & SPIN. To be considered, the proposal must reflect the needs stated in the Form 470. School won't consider Generic Marketing oriented emails or boilerplate proposals that don't pertain to the schools Form 470 requested items.

Any Ineligible items and the associated cost/s should be identified. All services should be installed so billing is effective no sooner than 7/1. Pricing to include installation (labor and materials) and any construction costs or it will disqualify a vendor.

If 3rd party special construction on campus is required to support the internet, the school welcomes separate vendors to bid on this component of the installation.

Terms and conditions should include: 1) Business Downturn clause to eliminate termination liability or provide protection from penalties, if enrollment declines requiring a significant change in services or end of service, 2) Seeking 3 year agreement with options to renew/voluntary extensions & upgrades 3) offer the choice in your contract for the client to proceed with or without E Rate funding or to decline the product/service if E Rate doesn't fund the school in that area, 4) NO automatic renewal as a standard option.

Instead, the school would like the option to choose to renew or not as well as the opportunity to accept a one or two year extension or upgrade during the contract period. 5) School prefers SPI reimbursement method. Agency: Cristo Rey Orange County High School Status: Certified
