School District Seeks Fiber Internet Access and Data Transmission Services

Petersburg School District is seeking proposals for Internet Access and Data Transmission Service (Category One), delivered via leased lit fiber infrastructure. -The District currently maintains a 1 Gbps internet connection and is requesting a minimum bandwidth of 1 Gbps, with the ability to scale bandwidth in increments of approximately 500 Mbps per year as needed during the contract term.

-Service is expected to be symmetrical, providing comparable upload and download speeds. -Proposals should identify any data usage limits or caps, if applicable. -The District is interested in multi-year contract options, including 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year terms. -Proposals should include pricing for the base 1 Gbps service as well as clearly defined pricing for incremental bandwidth increases during the term.

-Service will be delivered via a single district-wide internet circuit serving all eligible district entities. All listed service locations share the same connection.
