Memo No. 46.06.2000.000.335.41.0017.25-51 Date: 16/11/2025 EARLY MARKET ENGAGEMENT (EME) MEETING (Corrigendum) The Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh (GoB) has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of 'Chattogram Water Supply Improvement Project (CWSIP)', to be implemented by Chattogram Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (CWASA).

Under the project, CWASA is planning to invite bids for the contract for i) Design, Supply, Construction, Installation, Testing & Commissioning for System Improvement and DMA Formation of MOHARA Water Supply System and ii) Design, Supply, Construction, Installation, Testing & Commissioning for System Improvement and DMA Formation of Modunaghat and Kalurghat Water Supply System.

The preparation of bidding document is underway. The procurement under the project will follow the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for Investment Projects Financing (IPF) Borrowers. In view of the above, CWASA hereby invites interested bidders/ contractors to a Consultation Meeting to be held during 10:30 AM – 12:45 PM on November 20, 2025 at the Hotel Peninsula, Chattogram .

The meeting will also be connected virtually for those who wish to participate virtually. This session aims to foster dialogue on key parameters/ issues related to the above-mentioned contracts to facilitate the preparation of the bidding documents. We strongly encourage the potential Bidders to participate in this session to provide any feedback, comments or ask questions regarding this procurement opportunity.

A ‘Market Information Form' will be found at Chattogram WASA Website (www.ctg-wasa.org.bd ), which has been prepared to collect some specific experience and capacity-related information of the potential Bidders. Please send the filled-up form to the email address mentioned below before the event takes place.
