Gambia Infrastructure Project Seeks Contractors for Development Components

GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Country: The Gambia Name of Project: Gambia Infrastructure Project Executing Agency: Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Loan No./Credit No./TF No./Grant No. : IDA-E4640 Project ID No: P504762 The Government of the Gambia has received financing in the amount of US$52,600,000.00 equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the Gambia Infrastructure Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, non-consulting services and consulting services to be procured under this project. This project will be jointly financed by the IDA and the Government of The Gambia: . The project will include the following components : Component 1: Resilient Access to Infrastructure Sub-Component 1.A: Last Mile Rural Connectivity. Sub-Component 1.B: Resilient GBA Infrastructure. Component 2: Policy, Planning and Management Sub-Component 2.A: Sustainable Transport Policies and Road Sector Management Sub-Component 2.B: Sustainable Energy Enabling Environment Component 3: Service Delivery Modernization Sub-Component 3.A: Motorization Management. Sub-Component 3.B: Digitalization and Skills for Energy Services. Component 4: Project Management and Capacity Building Component 5: Contingent Emergency Response Component (CERC) Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (September 2023 , revised February 2025 and September 2025 ) (Procurement Regulations) ,and is open to all eligible firms and individuals as defined in the Procurement Regulations .[1] After project negotiations, the World Bank shall arrange the publication on its external website of the agreed initial procurement plan and all subsequent updates once it has provided a no objection. Specific procurement notices for contracts subject to open international competitive procurement will be announced, as they become available, in UN Development Business online, on the World Bank’s external website and and/Point , Foroyaa, Standard newspaper of national circulation . Prequalification/Initial Selection of suppliers and contractors will not be required for the following contracts Works Contracts

• Transport Accessibility (42km) – Civil Works ,
• Village and Household Connectivity – Civil Works ,
• GBA Urban Road resilience (17km) – Civil Works,
• GBA Active Mobility Corridor Pilot – Civil Works and
• GBA Energy Grid Resilience–Civil Works,

Non Consultancy Service

• Road Asset Management & low-cost data collection technologies –, and
• Vehicle Title and Registration System Non-Consultancy

Consultancy Services

• Supervision Consultancy for Transport Accessibility of 42km and 17km GBA
• Procurement of owner’s Engineer for site supervision of Village and GBA Household Connectivity (for 2 years)
• GBA Active Mobility ,
• NTP Updates Universal Access, National Road Safety,
• Updates on resilient Road design standards and Road maintenance manual, ,
• PT Fleet Renewal Scheme,
• Development of Minimum Energy Performance Standards – ,
