Tajikistan Financial and Private Sector Development Project Procurement Notice

GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Republic of Tajikistan Financial and Private Sector Development Project Grant No. E2040-TJ Project ID No. P177722 The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing in the amount of US$ 50,000,000.00 equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the Financial and Private Sector Development Project (FPSD), and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, related services and consulting services to be procured under this project. The project will include four components: Component 1 - Deposit Insurance. Component 2 – Partial Risk-Sharing Facility (PRSF). Component 3 - Supplier and Export Development Program (SEDP). Component 4 - Project Implementation, Coordination and Management. Goods, non-consulting and consulting services to be procured under the components above through open international competitive procurement include:

• Component 1. Identification and specification of IT needs and preparing TOR for Firm
• Component 3. Technical assistance for the implementation of the SEDP

Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (dated November 2020) (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible firms and individuals as defined in the Procurement Regulations. After project negotiations, the World Bank shall arrange the publication on its external website of the agreed initial procurement plan and all subsequent updates once it has provided a no objection. Specific procurement notices for contracts subject to open international competitive procurement will be announced, as they become available, in UN Development Business online, on the World Bank’s external website and untj.org web-site and in local newspapers.
