Scope overview
This RFT is to secure a contract for the repair and upgrade to sections of the Glentui Walking Track, a popular Day Walk located approximately 1 hours drive from Christchurch, in the Mount Thomas Conservation Area, North Canterbury.
The track is to be upgraded to Walking Track standard as per the Track and Outdoor Visitor Structures Handbook SNZ HB 8630:2004, and the contract works will include the following elements: o Site preparation and establishment o Track upgrade work including new track formation o Installation of new steps o Installation of culverting/drainage o Installation of new significant fall height barrier
