Die RVK beabsichtigt im Rahmen des Bauvorhabens die Errichtung eines Betriebshofes für Brennstoffzellen- und batterieelektrisch betriebene Omnibusse auf. Das ca. 13.500 m² große Baugrundstück liegt in Bensberg, einem Stadtteil der Stadt Bergisch-Gladbach. Das Gebiet liegt östlich der L195 Friedrich-Ebert-Straße und westlich der Straße Steinhaus.
Auf dem Betriebsgelände sollen ein Stützbauwerk mit Wasserstoffproduktionsanlage, ein Büro- und Verwaltungsgebäude mit Parkdeck und Inspektionshalle, 3 Buscarports, eine Portalwaschanlage für Busse und die zugehörigen Verkehrsflächen entstehen. Die Gebäude des Betriebshofes erstrecken sich über ca. 5300 m² Grundstücksfläche, haben eine Bruttogeschossfläche von ca. 11.500m² und einen Bruttorauminhalt von ca. 39.950m³.
