Scope overview
This RFP relates to the new Workspace Fit-out located at the Lower Ground Floor of the Waipapa Christchurch hospital acute services building. A key Te Whatu Ora design principle is to keep administration workspaces as close to a service�s nexus of work as possible, to enable efficient service delivery.
The lack of administration workspaces for the clinical teams, especially the medical workforce in Waipapa, is a barrier to efficient care for the inpatients located in that facility. The Waipapa lower ground floor has an area identified that will be fitted out as an administration space for the Department of Anaesthesia and the Department of Radiology.
The design includes a combination of a large open plan office with smaller office spaces, bookable meeting rooms, a training room and a dedicated space for RMOs. The area is currently a shelled space that requires complete fitting out with new walls, doors, floor coverings, furniture, and a beverage bay, including upgrades to the fire system, mechanical ventilation, and lighting. The floor area is approx. 1100m2.
