Scope overview
The purpose of this contract is the supply, installation and commissioning (including staff training) of a high-temperature powder bed electron beam machine (hereinafter referred to as the “PBF-EB machine, PBF-EB system or the equipment”), capable of processing metallic materials such as tungsten and refractories.
Its technical requirements are listed and described in the technical section of this document and in the Excel file “2022-0253_PBF-EB”. The equipment must comply with all applicable EU Directives and Regulations, including the Machinery Regulation (once in force), EMC, LVD and RoHS, and must be delivered with a valid CE declaration of conformity.
Any solution that does not comply with one of the required specifications will be excluded from the procedure.
