Program Coordinator Position for Education Transformation Project in Punjab

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (INDIVIDUAL CONSULTING SERVICES) Country: Pakistan Name of Project: Getting Results: Access and Delivery of quality Education Services and System Transformation in Punjab (GRADES-STP) Project Management Unit, School Education Department, Government of the Punjab is implementing the “Getting Results: Access and Delivery of quality Education Services and System Transformation in Punjab (GRADES-STP)” project with support from the World Bank through a GPE-funded initiative.

The project aims to strengthen foundational learning, increase enrolment, and advance system-wide reforms across Punjab. PMU now invites experienced candidates having relevant qualification and experience to indicate their interest in providing the services: Sr. No Post Qualification and Experience Required: No.

of Post 1 Program Coordinator – GPE Qualification At least, Master’s degree or equivalent (sixteen (16) years of education) in Public Policy/ Social Sciences/Public Administration/Communication or relevant discipline, from a foreign or local university, duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.

Experience At least Seven (07) years of documentary verifiable relevant experience, after acquiring stipulated qualifications, in public and/or private sector national/international organizations, including a minimum of 3 years of experience working in Foreign-Aided Development Projects in a similar role.

Excellent knowledge of the World Bank and government procedure of procurements and contracts will have an added advantage. Proven ability to work in a collaborative, team environment. The selection will be made in accordance with the Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants of World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers”, dated September 2023.

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016 revised November 2017, August 2018, November 2020 & September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
