of Vacancies: One (1) The Government of Kiribati (GOK) through the Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources (MFOR) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Pacific Regional Oceanscape Program (PROP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The MFOR now invites eligible individuals (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services.

Interested Consultant should provide information demonstrating that he/she has the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services (attach curriculum vitae with description of experience in similar assignments, similar conditions, etc.). The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be obtained at the email addresses provided.

The criteria for selecting the Consultants are: - Minimum qualification requirements Mandatory Academic degree or equivalent in fisheries, fisheries management, natural resource management, economics or development.

At least 5 years of professional experience in fisheries management, development projects, project design, management, monitoring and evaluation A sound understanding and knowledge of international and regional fisheries instruments, including the background in sustainable economic and community development and institutional capacity development Proven experience in project monitoring and evaluation Desirable Demonstrated analytical capacity, well-developed technical writing and editorial skills, proficient computer skills and proven capacity to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.

Languages: Good working knowledge (speaking, reading and writing) in English Organizational skills: Good organizational skills, setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
