The intent of this notice is to identifyqualified and interested offerors capable of performing the type of work as described herein for information and planningpurposes.

The information received will be utilized within the Navy to facilitate the planning and decision making processand will not be disclosed outside of the agency. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providinginformation in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests.

In accordance with Federal AcquisitionRegulation (FAR) 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form abinding contract.

Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Far East (NAVFAC FE) Core Execution Team (CET)is seeking potential sources for a single-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to perform paintingwork at the Command Fleet Activities Yokosuka and Atsugi, Japan.

The scope of painting will include related works forscaffolding, ultra-high performance protective coating, removal, reinstallation, repair, and replacement work. Work will belocated at various locations at the U.S. Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Ikego Housing Area and Navy Annex, Azuma Storage Area(Hakozaki), Urago Storage Area, Nagai ULM4, Yokohama North Dock, Yokohama Cold Storage, Tsurumi POL Depot, NewSanno, U.S.

Forces Center, U.S. Embassy, Tokyo, and the U.S. Atsugi Naval Air Facility in Japan. The resulting contract, ifany, is anticipated to have a five-year ordering period with an aggregate value of up to JPY6,000,000,000. Task orders willrange between JPY1,000,000 and JPY250,000,000; however, task orders below or above these amounts may be consideredif deemed to be in the Government?s best interest.

The Government makes no representation as to the number of task ordersor actual amount of work to be ordered; however, during the term of the contract, a minimum amount will be guaranteed.
