Scope overview
Om een duurzame economische ontwikkeling voor de speerpuntsectoren in West-Vlaanderen te verzekeren, beoogt het project EAU Secours (gesubsidieerd door het Europees Fonds voor Regionale Ontwikkeling in kader van de oproep “Bevorderen van klimaatadaptatie – GTI West-Vlaanderen”) te analyseren hoe de continuïteit en groei van industriële ontwikkelingen kan worden gerealiseerd binnen de randvoorwaarden van het watersysteem.
Om inzicht te krijgen in de ruimtelijke en temporele variaties in waterkwaliteit en -kwantiteit is één van de doelstellingen van het project EAU Secours om een monitoring netwerk van online real-time sensoren uit te bouwen en te onderhouden in het piloot-studiegebied (Leie in zuidelijk West-Vlaanderen).
Het sensorisch monitoring netwerk van EAU Secours zal bestaan uit een 10-tal (vermoedelijke hoeveelheid) meetlocaties. Om metingen uit te voeren in het studiegebied wil de POM West-Vlaanderen 10 (vermoedelijke hoeveelheid) afzonderlijke meetopstellingen laten installeren en deze 10 (vermoedelijke hoeveelheid) meetopstellingen vervolgens operationeel laten onderhouden voor een periode van 1 jaar.
