School District Seeks Internet Bandwidth Proposals for Educational Services

The Savannah-Chatham County Public School Systems (SCCPSS) seeks proposals from qualified providers for internet bandwidth. We require diverse Internet access to support uninterrupted instructional services, online state assessments, and cloud based educational platforms. A secondary Internet connection is necessary to maintain service availability during outages, maintenance events, or network failures.

Loss of Internet connectivity directly impacts teaching, learning, assessment, and operational continuity. Proposals may include diverse providers, diverse physical paths, or alternative technologies, provided the solution is cost effective and E Rate eligible.

The selected Offeror must be able to provide 10 GB of ERATE eligible managed internet service terminated at Bloomingdale Elementary at 101 E Main St, Bloomingdale GA 31302. We are also requiring pricing options to increase the internet bandwidth in increments of 2 GB up to 20 GB if needed. Scope of Service. The managed internet services must include the following: 1.

Managed router provided, installed, and maintained by the Service Provider. 2. Channel Service Unit/Data Service Unit (CSU/DSU) provided, installed and maintained by the Service Provider. 3. Service Provider should be a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Internet Service Provider. 4.

Service Provider must proactively manage all network components, including access circuit, router, and any other necessary hardware with the exception of a firewall. The District owns and maintains the firewall. 5. Provide online access to performance reporting information with a minimum history of thirty (30) days.

Reports should include percent of bandwidth used, peaks, and average usage, trending reports, and SLA reports. 6. Provide the District with ten (10) public IP addresses. 7. Provide a detailed statement of work/deployment plan for the installation and services being provided to 101 E Main St.

Offeror agrees to provide the goods and/or services requested for the following proposed fee, based on the following estimated quantities. Please submit your final cost for each item description below.
