Scope overview
Das Gebäude des Krankenhauses in Losheim wurde 1879 erbaut und diente über viele Jahre der medizinischen Versorgung der Region. Das Krankenhaus (derzeit ca. 13.100 m² Bruttogrundfläche und 6.200 m² Nutzfläche - ohne dazugehörige Erschließungsflächen sowie ohne Lager- und Technikräume -) wird seit dem Jahr 2020 nicht mehr zur medizinischen Versorgung genutzt.
Derzeit sind in einem Teilbereich ein Kindergarten mit Krippe und eine Förderschule untergebracht. Zudem befindet sich im derzeitigen Krankenhaus ein Dialysezentrum.
Das gesamte Klinikgelände, bestehend aus dem Krankenhaus mit drei Vollgeschossen zuzüglich Kellergeschoss sowie weiteren Gebäuden, Grünflächen und Parkplätzen (siehe Anlagen Lageplan und Lageplan mit Luftbild), soll zukunftsorientiert revitalisiert werden. Die Fläche ist als Sanierungsfläche ausgewiesen. Die Gesamtfläche beträgt 21.821 m².
