Scope overview

The Navy Region Southwest (NRSW) Qualified Recycling Program (QRP) is issuing a Solicitation and Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the recycling, removal, and demolition of Material Documented as Safe (MDAS) mixed scrap steel and metal buildings located at Naval Auxiliary Landing Field (NALF) San Clemente Island (SCI).

This is a government sale requiring a Fixed Total Price bid for the complete removal of identified materials. Critical Project Requirements Mandatory Site Visit: A mandatory inspection and site visit is scheduled for April 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM (PT) . Site Visit RSVP: You must RSVP via email to the QRP office no later than March 20, 2026 , to clear security for island access.

Submission Method: Bids will only be accepted via certified carrier service (FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.). E-mailed, faxed, or hand-delivered bids will be rejected. Bid Due Date: All bids must be received by 2:00 PM (PT) on April 24, 2026 .
