Markkinakartoitukseen osallistumisesta kiinnostuneita yrityksiä pyydetään tutustumaan Tarjouspalvelu- verkkopalvelusta löytyvään saatekirjeeseen. Markkinavuoropuheluun osallistuminen ei vielä käynnistä varsinaista tarjouskilpailua. Hankintailmoitus ja tarjouspyyntö julkaistaan myöhemmin erikseen. Markkinavuoropuheluun osallistuminen ei myöskään velvoita Hankintayksikköä toteuttamaan hankintaa.
Osallistuminen ei ole edellytys myöhempään tarjouskilpailuun osallistumiselle, eikä markkinavuoropuheluun osallistumisesta makseta korvauksia. Fingrid voi harkintansa mukaan hyödyntää markkinavuoropuhelussa saatuja tietoja hankinta asiakirjojen valmistelussa.,
