Die Fachstelle Geoinformation ist die zentrale Anlaufstelle für alle Belange der Geoinformation innerhalb der Verwaltung des Kantons Basel-Stadt.
Als Abteilung des Grundbuch- und Vermessungsamts im Bau- und Verkehrsdepartement verantwortet sie die zentrale Leistungserbringung im Bereich Geoinformation, insbesondere die Publikation von Geodaten sowie den Betrieb und die Weiterentwicklung der kantonalen Geodateninfrastruktur (GDI) und des kantonalen Geoportals.
Ein zentrales Element dieser Infrastruktur ist der Publikationsassistent, welcher die standardisierte, qualitätsgesicherte und effiziente Publikation von Geodaten im kantonalen Geoportal unterstützt.
Ziel dieser Beschaffung ist die Entwicklung, Weiterentwicklung sowie der Betrieb, die Wartung und der Support eines Publikationsassistenten zur Unterstützung der Fachstelle Geoinformation bei der Publikation von Geodaten.
