Etelä-Suomen aluehallintoviraston antamien päätösten nro 485/2019 ja 486/2019, 11.12.2019 (Dnrot ESAVI/13894/2019 ja ESAVI/14116/2019) mukaan kalateiden toimivuutta on niiden valmistumisen jälkeen tarkkailtava seitsemän vuoden ajan. Samaa edellytetään myös Varsinais-Suomen ELY-keskuksen ja Visinflow Oy:n välisessä sopimuksessa (7.4.2015, 5.6.2020).
