Die obere und die untere Aarebrücke wurden 1915 von der BLS gebaut. Die Brücken sind als schief gelagerte genietete Fachwerkbrücken über zwei Felder ausgebildet. Mit dem vorliegenden Projekt werden die Brücken für eine weitere Nutzungsperiode instandgesetzt.
