Scope overview
The planned new construction of the cultural and community center complements the existing northeast heritage-listed building “Zeughaus K2” with two modest buildings differing in size and structure: the “Kultursaal” (culture hall) and the “Kulturregal” (culture shelf).
The ground floor of “Zeughaus K2” will serve as the foyer for the “Grosse Saal” (large hall), housing the catering facilities, office space, and storage. The new building contains a total of eight ventilation systems. In the “Kulturregal,” ventilation will serve the cinema, kitchen, and small hall. There are also three ventilation systems in “Zeughaus K2”: Kultursaal, Kitchen K2 (KVS), and library.
In the “Kultursaal,” one ventilation system serves the hall, and the basement parking garage has its own supply and exhaust ventilation.
