PROJECT TITLE: PHASE 2 LAC QUI PARLE EMERGENCY SPILLWAY REPAIRPROJECT LOCATION: LAC QUI PARLE (LQP) DAM ON MINNESOTA RIVER NEAR MONTEVIDEO MINNESOTALAC QUI PARLE (LQP) EMERGENCY SPILLWAY REPAIR CONSTRUCTION. THE LQP DAM IS APPROXIMATELY SEVEN (7) MINNESOTA RIVER MILES UPSTREAM OF MONTEVIDEO, IN WATSON, CHIPPEWA COUNTY, MINNESOTA.

THE DAM EMBANKMENT AND EMERGENCY SPILLWAY ARE ADJACENT TO AND WEST OF THE CONTROL STRUCTURE DAM BETWEEN THE CONTROL STRUCTURE AND THE INTERSECTION OF LQP COUNTY ROAD 75. THE CREST OF THE SPILLWAY IS THE BITUMINOUS PAVING OF LQP COUNTY ROAD 33.

THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT REQUIRES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, REPLACEMENT OF THE EXISTING GROUTED RIPRAP WITH A REINFORCED CONCRETE SPILLWAY SLAB WITH UPSTREAM AND DOWNSTREAM KEYS AND SHEET PILE CUTOFF WALL, REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF ASPHALT SURFACING, TRAFFIC CONTROL, AND A TEMPORARY FLOOD PROTECTION SYSTEM.THIS SOLICITATION IS ISSUED AS AN INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR PART 14 SEALED BIDDING PROCEDURES.

IT IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS.THE ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE FOR THIS PROJECT IS BETWEEN $5,000,000 AND $10,000,000.THE NAICS CODE FOR THIS PROCUREMENT IS 237990 OTHER HEAVY AND CIVIL ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION WITH A SIZE STANDARD OF $45,000,000.PAYMENT AND PERFORMANCE PROTECTION ARE REQUIRED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR PART 28
