Scope overview

Zowel voor het regulier onderhoud aan het tram- en metroareaal als ook voor het verhelpen van calamiteiten en storingen aan de bovenleiding zijn speciaal uitgeruste wagens nodig, de zogenaamde Bovenleidingmontagewagens verder te noemen BMW’s.

Deze voertuigen zijn zowel geschikt voor vervoer over spoor als op de openbare weg en zijn uitgerust met een hoogwerker waardoor de monteurs op de locatie kunnen worden gebracht waar de werkzaamheden uitgevoerd moeten worden. RET heeft drie BMW’s in gebruik. De oudste wagen (nummer 2040) nadert het einde van zijn technische levensduur en moet worden vervangen. Daarom wil RET de bovenleidingmontagewagen no.

2040 vervangen door een nieuwe wagen die voldoet aan de huidige technische en milieueisen en die goed inzetbaar is en weinig last heeft van storingen. Doelstelling is om te komen tot een overeenkomst met één leverancier voor: - het leveren van één nieuwe BMW en, - onderhoud en service (storingsdienst) aan de betreffende BMW.
