Summit School District is requesting funds for 400 Chromebooks that were purchased in January 2022 to ensure that all of our students had access to a connected device in the event their primary device was damaged and awaiting repair or replacement.
The needs for Summit School District center around computer and chip shortages as well as supply chain delays, which have caused repair lead times to be significantly longer than previous school years. During the interim of students awaiting their repaired device, the student was lacking a connected device that is sufficient for online learning.
