Janitorial Services Solicitation for Lost River Ranger District Office

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation number 1240LS26Q0017 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Janitorial Services for the Salmon-Challis National Forest Lost River Ranger District. Statement of Requirement The purpose of this requirement is to secure janitorial services for the Lost River Ranger District Office in Mackay, Idaho.

The Contractor is responsible for providing all labor, supervision, equipment and supplies not listed as Government-furnished items in the statement of work, necessary to perform services under the janitorial contract. All designated areas must present a clean, healthful, and well-kept appearance. The work will consist of cleaning floors, vacuuming carpets, cleaning furnishings/furniture.

Total square footage of areas requiring cleaning is 8,000 square feet. There are five restrooms to clean, four in the main office and one in the warehouse. A site visit is scheduled for March 10, 2026 at 1:00 PM MT. Interested vendors will meet the COR at the Lost River Ranger District located at 716 West Custer Street, Mackay, ID 83251 at the scheduled time.

Vendors are not required to submit any information to attend the site visit, but they will be asked to fill out an attendance sheet (Company Name, Employee Name, Phone Number, and Email Address). Questions Questions shall be submitted via email to arlen.fausett@usda.gov and are due no later than March 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM MT. This will ensure enough time to respond before the solicitation period ends.
