Scope overview
Leicestershire County Council has appointed a suitably qualified Contractor for the delivery of the Major Route Network A511 Corridor works.\r \r This contract has been awarded via the Midlands Highways Alliance Medium Schemes Framework (MSF4) as a result of a further competition. \r \r The contract has been awarded as an NEC4 ECC Option C contract including Early Contractor Involvement clause X22.
\r \r Funding for the Stage One (Early Contractor Involvement) element of the scheme has been secured in full.\r \r Funding to progress the scheme to Stage Two works (issue of Intent to Proceed) is subject to the successful completion of a Final Business Case, funding approval from the Department for Transport (DfT), and agreement of target cost.\r \r The target costs for Stage 1 are £1,370,275.05 ex VAT\r \r Stage 2 is currently estimated at a target cost of £30,999,816.20 ex VAT\r \r Total Award (target cost) = £32,370,091.25 ex VAT\r
