/Grant No.: 7110-SB / E034-SB / 7714-SB / 7715-SB / E416-SB RFB Reference No.: SB-PST-477729-CW-RFB The Government of Solomon Islands has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Second Solomon Islands Roads and Aviation Project (SIRAP2) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Malaita East Road (Routine maintenance and regravelling (including upgrading key vulnerable spots to enhance climate resilience) on 21 km of East Road between Baratoro and Atori).

The Ministry of Infrastructure Development (MID) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Malaita East Road (Routine maintenance and regravelling (including upgrading key vulnerable spots to enhance climate resilience) on 21 km of East Road between Baratoro and Atori).

Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from rkonale@sirap.sb cc tatyana@paiptfsu.com .

The RFB document in English will be emailed to interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below. Bids must be emailed to the address below on or before 10:00 am on 26 March 2026, Solomon Islands time. Electronic Bidding will be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected.

Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below via Google Meet: https://meet.google.com/zmc-jiyo-unv All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid-Securing Declaration.

Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
