Scope overview

NatureScot intends to establish a single‑supplier framework for the manufacture, supply and installation of high‑quality timber signage for Scotland’s National Nature Reserves.

The requirement includes the production of CAD‑routed Douglas Fir timber signs, supply of CHPL graphic panels, associated hardware and fixings, and delivery and installation at reserve sites across Scotland, including remote and island locations.

Services include preparation of bilingual English/Gaelic artwork, manufacture in accordance with the NNR Signs Guide, installation to agreed specifications, removal of old signs where required, and provision of all associated materials, labour and quality assurance. The framework will support a rolling programme of new and replacement signage over a four‑year period, with estimated volumes of 50–100 signs per year.
