Cette opération s’inscrit dans une dynamique de projet majeur porté par la ville de Mamoudzou «Mamoudzou 2030 », découlant de l’OAP réalisée en 2019 sur cette zone, en adéquation avec le PLUI et le SAR. La partie de l’enveloppe financière prévisionnelle affectée aux travaux est estimée à : 35 000 000 € HT.
