Die Verwendung dieser Artikel verfolgt das Ziel, die unternehmerischen Leitlinien der Kantonspolizei Bern zu unterstützen, das Vertrauen in die Organisation zu stärken, die positive Identifikation mit der Polizei zu fördern sowie gezielte Zielgruppen und Partnerinstitutionen anzusprechen.
Aktuell verfügt die Kantonspolizei Bern über das in Anhang 3a (Gesamtsortiment Los 1) und Anhang 3b (Gesamtsortiment Los 2) beschriebene Sortiment. Dieses Sortiment soll teilweise weiterbestehen, zeitnah erweitert werden und auch zukünftig nach Bedürfnissen ausgebaut werden. Bei den Mengen handelt es sich um die Menge der letzten Bestellung, was ungefähr dem zu erwartenden Jahresvolumen entspricht.
