De eIDAS-verordening, die in mei 2024 is vernieuwd, speelt een grote rol in de digitale vooruitgang in Europa. Deze herziene verordening introduceert de Europese Digitale Identiteit Wallet (EDI-wallets) waarover in 2030 80% van de inwoners van de EU moet kunnen beschikken om grensoverschrijdende diensten te kunnen afnemen. De verordening stelt strengere eisen aan gebruiksgemak, veiligheid en betrouwbaarheid.
Met deze marktverkenning vraagt RvIG aan marktpartijen hun visie te geven over de organisatorische en technische impact die bovengenoemde – voor RvIG nieuwe – dienstlevering kan hebben. Op woensdag 4 maart a.s. is er een online informatiebijeenkomst over deze marktconsultatie waarin de RvIG meer duidelijk maakt over de gevraagde antwoorden. U kunt zich uiterlijk maandag 2 maart a.s.
