Scope overview

This Contract will continue the UK's supplort and close collaboration with the Malawi Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MoBSE) to ensure sustainability of the Maths Reform curriculum that started with the Phase one of the reform (2020-2025).

The technical objectives are: 1) Deliver workbooks and teacher guides already procured, and print and deliver new workbooks/textbooks and teacher guides, 2) Print revised pre-service training curriculum materials and train all public teacher training lecturers (under the leadership of the MoBSE, the Malawi Institute of Education and the Department of Department for Teacher Education), 3) Technical assistance (TA) for maths reform sustainability and foundational learning systems strengthening.
