Scope overview
In 2017 heeft de intelligente verkeersregelinstallatie (iVRI) zijn intrede gemaakt in Nederland. Deze installaties kennen diverse functionaliteiten (zogenaamde usecases) die via een gestandaardiseerde landelijke architectuur functioneren. Om te toetsen of een iVRI correct binnen de landelijke architectuur functioneert is een onafhankelijke testtool geproduceerd, de Priotalker.
Na jaren van het opdoen van ervaringen met de Priotalker heeft NDW besloten om een nieuwe versie van deze tooling aan te besteden. Doel hierbij is om een betrouwbare, stabiele en onafhankelijke tool als dienst af te nemen gedurende meerdere jaren. Zo is geborgd dat gebruikers iVRI’s succesvol kunnen afnemen.
Omdat NDW van de gelegenheid gebruik maakt om zoveel mogelijk ervaringen van gebruikers door te voeren in de tooling is bewust gekozen voor een nieuwe naam: de Priotalker 2. Daarmee is direct duidelijk dat sprake is van een evolutie ten opzichte van de bestaande tooling.
