Scope overview
The key services being sought are in relation to Automatic Doors Servicing & Repair are planned works, routine maintenance works, and unplanned reactive works from time to time.
In addition, from time to time and despite the controls in place to prevent them, emergency repair or maintenance works may need to be carried out which will require contractors to provide 24/7 emergency call support, out with normal working hours and is applicable to NHSDG Estates properties throughout Dumfries & Galloway.
For clarity, out of hours call outs refer to any call or work after 5pm and before 7am Monday to Friday, each 24-hour period for Saturday & Sunday and any public holiday as set by NHS Scotland.
The Automatic Doors Servicing & Repair Contractor will be expected to carry out servicing, maintenance, repair and 24/7 emergency support to all automated doors in all NHSD&G properties in a professional manner leading to a prompt resolution of any problems that may affect the efficient delivery of services by NHSD&G.
