Scope overview
The City of New York Department of Parks and Recreation ( Parks ) has awarded a concession to The Battery Conservancy, Inc. ( TBC ), of 90 Broad Street, Suite 1503, New York, NY 10004, for the operation and maintenance of a food and beverage concession in the New Amsterdam Pavilion at Peter Minuit Plaza at the Battery, Manhattan.
The concession was awarded through a Different Procedure (Sole Source) pursuant to Section 1-16 of the Concession Rules of the City of New York.
All funds and fees from revenue generating activities will be used solely to offset costs associated with maintenance, improvement, and operation of the Licensed Premises, and including keeping and maintaining the Licensed Premises in good condition and repair, in accordance with the provisions of the License.
The agreement will provide for one (1) ten (10)-year term with two (2) five (5)-year renewal options, provided that Parks has renewed its Maintenance and Operation Agreement with TBC, according to its terms. Agency: Parks and Recreation Status: Award
