Scope overview
In accordance with Section 3-05 of the PPB Rules SBS is awarding via Sole Source a contract to the New York City Economic Development Corporation. The services consist of providing certain City-wide economic development services to the City of New York without limitation, acting as the City s consultant and representative in order to ensure that jobs are retained and developed in the City.
EDC does operate without limitation with respective to the type of economic development description of services as the City s liaison. This procurement will ensure that the only local development corporation with the required experience and in-house expertise to perform on a City-wide basis.
The contract in question will be for a one year term expected to commence July 1, 2025, which contract will provide that the term may be extended by the City by up to one year. Reference LL63: FY26NSBS1 Agency: Small Business Services Status: Award
