De provincie Antwerpen wil met deze overheidsopdracht (perceel 1) toegang tot recente (max.
2 jaar oud) en historische orthofoto’s, oblieke luchtbeelden en 3D puntenwolken; en (perceel 2) allerhande inventarisaties op basis van de bronnen in perceel 1 kunnen afroepen. Het zijn belangrijke middelen om vanaf het kantoor situaties in de openbare ruimte en op private percelen te raadplegen en te beoordelen.
Voor het departement Ruimte, Erfgoed en Mobiliteit van de provincie Antwerpen vormen deze beelden en de inventarisaties een belangrijk hulpmiddel bij de uitvoering van hun opdrachten: - beoordeling van omgevingsvergunningsaanvragen; - ruimtelijke planningsprocessen; - mobiliteit.
