Det er affaldskraftvarmeværket i Nykøbing F, hvorfra der skal ske afhentning, transport og nyttiggørelse af RGP/kedelaske.
Affaldskraftvarmeværket består af 1 varmtvandsproducerende ovnlinie med en forbrændingskapacitet på 4,6 ton/time samt en kraftvarmelinie på 12,42 ton/time (Begge ved en brændværdi på 10 GJ/tons). Kraftvarmelinien drives omtrentlig på maximal effekt 24 timer, 7 dage per uge, 365 dage per år, med undtagelse af revisionsperioden, som typisk varer 3-4 uger per år og finder sted maj/juni, eller august/september.
Den varmvandsproducerende linie anvendes overvejende i vinterhalvåret, eller som substitution for kraftvarmelinien i dennes revisionsperiode.
