Scope overview
FENZ wishes to engage with a construction company to extend and refurbish the existing fire station at 7 Lake Road, Okaihau. The refurbished station will consist of; a single engine appliance bay, training room, kitchen and ablution facilities, operational control room, meeting/lecture room, equipment storage areas, decontamination and PPE locker facilities.
FENZ is looking for credible service providers who have the capacity, capability, experience, certification and infrastructure to deliver the required service. Providers need to demonstrate a good track record in IL4 construction (or relevant experience) and programme management with sound health and safety related policies.
Respondents are asked to consider their timeframes, risk mitigations, current work programme schedules and sustainability practices. These projects are part of the �shovel ready� infrastructure projects from the Provincial Growth Fund. The proposed form of contract is NZS 3910:2013.
