Scope overview
The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene ( NYC Health Department or Agency ) is seeking an appropriately qualified pharmacy vendor to receive, store, dispense and deliver medication directly to the patients homes or medical provider offices during a public health emergency.
The NYC Health Department would expect the contractor to, at the Agency s request, dispense and deliver medication to patients on the same day the prescription is received from an authorized healthcare professional, with no charge to the patient (or recipient ). Deliveries would be made to patients located within the five boroughs of New York City.
