Canadian Space Agency Seeks Osteopathic Manual Practitioner for Astronaut Reconditioning

The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) Operational Space Medicine (OSM) group requires an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, with experience treating astronauts, particularly in the post-flight reconditioning period following a long duration mission.

The CSA believes the pre-identified supplier is the only Canadian osteopathic manual practitioner qualified to render services to CSA astronauts given that they meet the essential service requirements.

Interested suppliers who consider themselves fully qualified and available to provide the services described herein may submit a Statement of Capabilities by e-mail, to the contact person identified in section 16 of this Notice on or before the closing date and time of this Notice (see section 15). The Statement of Capabilities must clearly demonstrate how the interested supplier meets the advertised requirements.

If no interested supplier submits a statement of capabilities that meets the requirements set out in the ACAN, on or before the closing date stated in the ACAN, the contracting officer may then proceed with the award to the pre-identified supplier.
