Scope overview
A call-off from Lot B8 of the Place, Connectivity & Infrastructure Professional Services Framework 2022-2026 (Published 4 March 2022). • Ecological support is required to facilitate Phase 2 of works for removal of materials (to be carried out by a contractor) for works to a classic hibernation roost.
• Ecological site supervision for removal of materials from the structure under a precautionary working method statement. • Ecological support of bat survey work and mitigation requirements for completion of the works. • Ongoing survey and site supervision support for further works and ongoing management of the site. • Phase 2 removal works are currently planned for April 2026.
• Internal removal works are scheduled to be completed by 31 May 2026. • Bat ecologist with NE Level 2 bat survey licence, preferably with advanced survey licences (Levels 3 / 4), able to hold mitigation licences for multiple species, relevant experience with classic hibernation roosts including Greater Horseshoe bat roosts.
