Scope overview
Reference: UKR/24/02/SWE/01-2026 Ukraine’s successful recovery requires addressing a critical need for additional workforce. A significant potential source of this workforce is the activation of currently inactive populations, particularly working-age women. To achieve this, a systemic approach is essential, with a focus on improving childcare policies and eliminating barriers to women’s employment.
One of the key challenges is ensuring the availability of affordable, accessible, and adequate childcare services. To address this gap between the supply of and demand for childcare services, innovative childcare solutions are being implemented in collaboration with employers.
The proposed initiative seeks to strengthen the childcare system by enhancing management practices and promoting new forms of employer engagement in childcare provision. All relevant information regarding the Call for Proposals, including submission procedures and the information session, is provided in the Guidelines. Applicants are requested to carefully review all documents.
