Es objeto del contrato la contratación con una compañía aseguradora, de una póliza de seguros de Responsabilidad Civil General y Profesional que garantice el pago de las indemnizaciones por las que pueda resultar civilmente responsable el asegurado conforme a derecho, de forma directa, solidaria o subsidiaria por los daños corporales, materiales y consecuenciales, así como los daños patrimoniales primarios causados a consecuencia de la actividad propia del tomador del seguro.
Asimismo, garantizará los costes y gastos judiciales y extrajudiciales y la prestación de fianzas, de acuerdo con los Pliegos de condiciones particulares y de prescripciones técnicas.
