The requirement is for Health & Life Insurance for LES at the U.S. Embassy Muscat, Oman. Classification Code: 524114 Health insurance Carriers 524113 Direct Life Insurance Carriers Please note the solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date.

The Embassy of the United States in Muscat Oman will launch the solicitation on the System for Award Management) Database www.sam.gov and on the embassy website when it is available. The anticipated performance period is for a base period of 12 months and four one-year optional periods of performance, if exercised by the Government.

The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity) type contract with Economic Price Adjustment. All qualified responsible sources must submit a proposal to be given consideration. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is qualified, responsible and submits the best offer.

Only electronic offers or proposals will be accepted. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion; however, the Government may conduct negotiation if it is determined that it is in the best interest of the Government Notwithstanding FAR 4.203-1(b)(5)(ii), the Contracting Officer has determined that it is in the best interest of the U.S.

Government that offerors be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov at the time of submitting a proposal.
