- The Government of Pakistan has received a credit from the World Bank toward the cost of the Sindh Flood Emergency Rehabilitation Project (SFERP) Phase-II under Credit No. IDA-77800-PK and intends to apply a part of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contract for the Procurement of Goods.
- The Planning and Development Department, Government of Sindh, through Project Director, Sindh Flood Emergency Rehabilitation Project (SFERP) Phase-II now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of Goods for following activity.
Description of Goods Bid Security Bid Submission Technical Bid Opening Procurement Of 20 Nos of Fire Tender 18 Tons for Karachi Division. PKR-19.30 million Dated: 13th March, 2026 Time: 11:00 AM (Local Time Dated: 13th March, 2026 Time: 11:30 AM (Local Time)
- Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. The bidding procedures is based on a single-stage two envelope.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Sindh Flood Emergency Rehabilitation Project (SFERP).Office Address: Plot#1, Block 3, KDA Scheme 5, Clifton, Karachi, Pakistan, Phone Number: 0092-21-35860008 email: pmu.serproject@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours i.e., 0900 to 1600 hours at the address given below.
- The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application on company letterhead to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Rupees Fifty Thousand Only (PKR:50,000/-). The method of payment will be Cash Deposit in to Government Treasury. The bidding document will be sent by courier or by hand to the authorized representative only.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before the date and time mentioned under Para-2 above. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The outer Bid envelopes marked “ORIGINAL BID”, and the inner envelopes marked “TECHNICAL PART” will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below at the time mentioned under Para-2 above. All envelopes marked “FINANCIAL PART” shall remain unopened and will be held in safe custody of the Employer until the second public Bid opening.
- All bids must be accompanied by a Bid security of an amount and currency mentioned under Para-2 against package. All Bids must be accompanied by a Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and/or Sexual Harassment (SH) Declaration.
- Attention of bidders is drawn to the Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers dated September 2023 requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful Bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the Bidding Document.”
