Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Sindh Flood Emergency Rehabilitation Project (SFERP).Office Address: Plot#1, Block 3, KDA Scheme 5, Clifton, Karachi, Pakistan, Phone Number: 0092-21- 99332529-3 email: pmu.serproject@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours i.e., 0900 to 1600 hours at the address given below. 5.
The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application on company letterhead to the address below and upon cash payment of a nonrefundable fee of Rupees Ten Thousand Only (PKR:10,000/-). The bidding document will be sent by courier or by hand to the authorized representative only. 6.
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before the date and time mentioned under Para-2 above against each respective activity. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected.
Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at the date and time specified against each activity under Serial-2 above. 7.
For activity at Serial-2 under Para-1 (Single Stage Two Envelope) the outer Bid envelopes marked “ORIGINAL BID”, and the inner envelopes marked “TECHNICAL PART” will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders. All envelopes marked “FINANCIAL PART” shall remain unopened and will be held in safe custody of the Employer until the second public Bid opening. 8.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid security under Serial-2 at Para no. 1. All Bids must be accompanied by a Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and/or Sexual Harassment (SH) Declaration. 9.
Attention of bidders is drawn to the Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers dated September 2023 requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful Bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the Bidding Document.” 10.
