De opdracht bestaat uit één vast deel (zone Lipsebeek tot kruispunt Kruineikestraat) en 1 optioneel/voorwaardelijk gedeelte (zone Grensstraat tot Lipsebeek – Fase Z cfr faseringsplan in bijlage). Voor het voorwaardelijk is er nog geen vergunning. Dit voorwaardelijke deel werd, mits het verkrijgen van de vergunning, nog als laatste fase voorzien in de opdracht.
De opdrachtnemer heeft geen recht op schade vergoeding als dit deel niet uitgevoerd mag worden door het niet verkrijgen van de vergunning.
